The Greenwell Foundation offers recreational programs at Greenwell State Park for people of all ages and abilities. The Park of Possibilities is a place where everyone can ride a horse, paddle a kayak, follow a trail, and enjoy the waterfront.

Camps  -  Register now!
Several inclusive and accessible summer day camp options: Camp Greenwell, Horse Camp, Kayak Camp, and Fishing Camp. Spring Break Camps are also offered.

Horseback Riding
A comprehensive recreational and therapeutic horseback riding program offers lessons and camps for beginning riders.

River Riders Kayaking
Kayak lessons, camps, and guided trips. The program is fully accessible and operates from April through October. Reservations required   

Nature Time
Young children and their families/caregivers enjoy the wonders of nature at Greenwell through games, crafts, stories, movement, and exploration of the park. Pre-registration required

Vacations for Vets
Greenwell is the host site for Southern Maryland Vacations for Vets weekends. Recovering servicemen and women and their families enjoy a relaxing weekend Greenwell's Knott Lodge and enjoy all the park has to offer. Their stay is free thanks to the generosity of volunteers and local businesses.
