Greenwell offers a comprehensive horseback riding program with lessons for beginning riders at least seven years of age. Greenwell also offers a Therapeutic Riding Program designed for individuals age seven and older with developmental, physical, or emotional challenges. The TRP is a Center Member of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA). Founded in 1969, NARHA's mission is to change and enrich lives by promoting excellence in equine-assisted activities. Greenwell's TRP is based on the principles and methods of NARHA.
Greenwell has a limited number of scholarships available for the Therapeutic Riding Program.
Riding lessons are offered by session. Each session consists of 12 weekly one-hour lessons (Winter Session is 10 weekly one-hour lessons). A session format offers riders the ability to improve their skills over a specific period of time. Instructors have the time to evaluate each rider and prepare an organized progression plan tailored to individual needs with a documented end goal.
Greenwell offers summer Horse Camps and Horse Camp for a Day throughout the school year.

New! - Horseback Riding Options:
One-Time Ride
Enjoy a ride on one of our horses in the arena with an instructor. (No lesson; 20-minute ride)
Subject to availability of riding instructor, horses, and arena space.
$35.00 per person
Group Rides
An ideal option for birthday parties, youth groups, any get-together of up to 10 people. Everyone has an opportunity to ride in the arena during this one-hour session. Each ride is approximately five minutes.
(Additional rental hour required for groups larger than 10.)
$100.00 per hour
Group Visit (no riding)
An excellent choice for school and scouting groups. The instructor will give a short talk and answer questions about horses. Every participant gets a chance to brush a horse.
